Unbound’s first woman CEO, Ashley Hufft, shares her story and vision

New President and CEO Ashley Hufft early on in her career worked as a corporate lawyer on Wall Street. It didn’t take long for her to realize her true calling was in international development. Her journey for the next 20 years would take her from New York City to sub-Saharan Africa to Kansas City. Now, as the first woman to lead one of the largest international development organizations in the U.S., Hufft shares her vision for Unbound.

The Unbound mothers group Las Abejitas (the Bees) stands on the same road that they paved with funding from Agents of Change. The road is less treacherous to travel by foot now but has also opened the community up to other forms of transportation.
