Global inflation hits families living in poverty hardest

In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the war between Russia and Ukraine, along with other economic factors, global inflation has risen steadily. This two-part series introduces you to the struggles of some of these families during this time, details how Unbound staff are helping them cope and offers ways that you can help as well.

Wambura is a 12-year boy in Tanzania. He enjoys studying and hopes to become a teacher. In the past, ongoing health issues often disrupted his education, but with support from his Unbound sponsorship, Wambura now has much-needed health care and has been able to stay in school.
