Kraus named to 'CFO of the Year' list
Martin Kraus, chief financial officer of Unbound, has been named to a list published by the Kansas City Business Journal of the 2014 CFOs of the Year.
According to the Business Journal website, "The program, now in its seventh year, honors the Kansas City area's top financial executives. Applicants were judged for their contributions to their companies' growth and financial success, their roles in corporate management and strategic planning, and their community involvement."
"We should be at our best when we serve the poor. They deserve it," Kraus said, echoing the words of Bob Hentzen, co-founder and president of Unbound until his passing in 2013. "I am lucky to work with a group of amazing financial professionals at an organization that places such a premium on financial accountability."
Kraus has served as CFO of Unbound since 2009.
